![]() ![]() Frustrated, I scoffed "Good luck" as I got up from the desk. My wife asked if she could give it a try. How could it be working for them but not for me? I had tried both of the Rodecaster Pro's on 4 separate computers, one of them being brand new, so that couldn't have been the issue. He was very patient and was willing to ship me a third system, although he said the one he sent me was tested before shipment and the one I sent back was working for them. Once it arrived I excitedly plugged it in and. He was super helpful and, after doing some additional troubleshooting, he sent me a new system. I eventually called the Rode office and California and got support from a guy named Alex. Using different cables, different computers (pc's and a mac), updating drivers, reinstalling windows. The connection to the device would flicker and, at times, not work at all. Then, one day, as I sat down to record a voiceover for a video I was making, I couldn't get the Rodecaster Pro to connect with my computer. The interface was intuitive and I was happy. I recorded a couple podcasts and even used it to record some music. So, I ordered a Rodecaster Pro and a handful of Podmics and things were going great. I was having an issue with my Rodecaster Pro that I (well, actually my wife, but more on that later) recently discovered the solution for and I wanted to share it here so that if someone in the future is scouring the internet, like I was, looking for a solution, this thread might save them some headache. ![]() Resources /r/podcasting Wiki Related Subredditsīelow is my saga with the Rodecaster Pro.
